Brief Description: Modified-PP three-phase separator for UASB, EGSB and IC anaerobic reactors. Customizable treatment capacity ranges from 50 to 10,000 m³/h with gas–liquid separation efficiency of at least 98%.
Details
The PP three-phase separator is a core component of anaerobic wastewater-treatment reactors, including UASB, EGSB, and IC systems. It separates gas, liquid, and solids and is suitable for wastewater projects in the chemical, metalworking, food, pharmaceutical, and fermentation industries.
Installed at the top of the reactor, the separator includes a gas seal, gas chamber, sludge-return slot, and settling chamber. The lower reaction zone and upper settling zone separate water, biogas, and sludge. Biogas exits through the water seal, settled sludge returns to the reaction zone, and treated water leaves through the collection channel.

▪ Corrosion resistance: Modified PP withstands acidic and alkaline conditions and provides a service life of more than 10 years under normal operation and maintenance.
▪ Efficient separation: Gas–liquid separation efficiency reaches at least 98%, while solid–liquid separation accuracy can be optimized to 0.5 mm.
▪ Modular design: The unit can be assembled quickly and configured for different treatment capacities.
▪ Energy saving: Energy consumption is more than 30% lower than conventional equipment, and routine maintenance is straightforward.
▪ Customizable construction: Dimensions, shape, and plate thickness can be adapted to the installation site and process requirements.
